Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time
His son, David Zayas Jr., fills in for his father in some scenes, as they both look very similar. During the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side featureless.

The complex and damaged characters, the twisted storyline, and Dexter’s foster father raising and training him to be the perfect avenger are all so intoxicating! Not only is this show well-acted, with every main character holding my undivided attention, but it’s also written with such deep intensity that I find it absolutely irresistible! I really can’t wait to see more about how Dax was traumatized as a child, more about Harry’s lessons, more about his growing relationship with Rita, more about the Ice Car Killer, more about forensics…
